My E21/5 Project

I bought this car from a used car lot back in 1998. The engine overheated three months after I bought it so I put it in Vitoon Garage to replace the original M60 Engine with the M20 from an E28. This is how the car looked after the engine transplant. I drove the car for about two years afer that (I drove about 150 km each day everyday) and decided to restore the original engine and bring it back in the car. The engine project started around November 2000 and was finally in the car in February this year (2001). I put the car in a bodyshop recommended by Khun Phakavat in June and it is now near completion. The body work is excellent and here are some pictures of the finished car. I hope to put some more new pictures soon.

ผมซื้อรถคันนี้มาตอนประมาณปลายปี 1998 หลังจากนั้นได้สามเดือนเครื่องยนต์ก็ร้อนเกินและหม้อน้ำเดือน ฝาสูบโก่ง ผมเลย เอารถไปเปลี่ยนเครื่องเดิม (M60) ออก และซื้อเครื่องหกสูบบล๊อค M20 ของอี28 มาใส่แทนชั่วคราว หลังจากเปลี่ยนเครื่องผมก็ใช้รถมาประมาณสองปี (ขับทุกวัน วันละประมาณ 150 กิโล) และได้ตัดสินใจโอเวอร์ฮอลเครื่องเดิมกลับมาใส่ใหม่ เริ่มเอาเครื่องเดิมมาทำประมาณปลายปีที่แล้ว เสร็จและใส่กลับไปอยู่ในรถประมาณเดือนกุมภาปีนี้ หลังจากนั้นก็เอาเข้าทำใปะผุใหม่ทั้งคัน เมื่อเดือนมิถุนาที่ผ่านมา ตอนนี้ก็ประกอบใกล้จะเสร็จแล้วครับ งานซ่อมตัวถังออกมาดีมากครับ นี่เป็น รูปรถตอนทำสีเสร็จ บางส่วน รูปใหม่ๆจะมาเร็วๆนี้ครับ
